Ghilli rerelease takes over by storm! Vijay, Trisha starrer records highest day 1 footfall

Ghilli (2004) was a turning point in actor Vijay’s career, and two decades later the movie re-released to much fan-fare in Tamil Nadu theaters on April 20, 2024. The first day run of this 20 year old Ghilli was declared to register the highest day 1 footfalls in Tamil Nadu. Sakthi Film Factory, the banner that ensured maximum screens for the Ghilli re-release, has been seen sharing the overwhelming fan response to the film in theater screens.  

Actors who were part of the film like Trisha – Ghilli‘s female lead, Janaki who played Vijay’s mother in the movie have been seen reacting and taking part in the fan-fare respectively.
